Position Summary:

Blausen Medical is seeking a well rounded web/ mobile developer with experience with multiple platforms/ programming languages. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of programming concepts. Responsibilities include building/ updating dynamic websites, updating interactive flash/ actionscript, and building/ updating mobile apps on iPhone/ Blackberry/ Android platforms.

The successful candidate for this position is a self-motivated individual that displays attention to detail and commitment to produce accurate, high quality work in the field of biomedical communications.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the successful communication of complex medical and scientific topics through the use of a variety of visual media, a continuing growth and mastery of the software utilized during production, and demonstration of a willingness to excel in the field of biomedical communications.

Requirements:

Demonstrate the ability to gain understanding of complex medical content and effectively communicate that information in an engaging and attractive manner.

Provide a strong portfolio depicting the successful execution and understanding of the principles of animation, color, drawing, graphic design, painting, and photography.

Exhibit a high level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (7.0 or higher), Autodesk 3D Studio Max (7.0 or higher), Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator (10.0 or higher). Proficiency in non-linear editing, and video production are recommended.

Possess the ability to work capably individually as well as in a collaborative team effort. A strong can-do attitude and a willingness to pitch in based on project needs are essential.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
