Addition of Calypso System Topic Brings Human Atlas Total to 289

Houston, August 2, 2010 --- Blausen Medical, developer and owner of the world's largest library of medical animations, has added Topic 289, Calypso System, to its continually expanding library. The new topic also will be added to the current Blausen Cancer Atlas (bringing its total animations to 53). The new animation explores the technology of the Calypso System --- an advanced treatment method used in conjunction with external beam radiation therapy. The System delivers focused doses of radiation with greater accuracy to prostate cancer patients. As in all Blausen atlases, and in addition to its 3D animation videos, the new topic's content will include rotating models, labeled slides, and printable text.
